
Incumbent: Pat Carroll (Shafer) Member by License
Pat has lived on Lake Shafer for 9 years. He has a MPA from Bowling Green State University, MSBA from Boston University, and a BSBA from Xavier University. Pat is a retired US Army Lieutenant Colonel. Pat has held management responsibilities in the Indianapolis Public Works Facilities. He has streamlined employment for current and new applicants for the State of Indiana. He has negotiated numerous contracts including long tem solid waste and waste to energy agreements. Pat has been involved in numerous community activities including: Geist Homeowners Association, Chairperson for Combined State Campaign and ADA Steering Committee, Public Records Oversight Committee, and Safety Coordinators Council to name a few. Pat states, "I fully understand the responsibilities of a Board member, and very interested in the activities of the SFLECC and would be an active, productive and progressive member of the SFLECC Board."
Incumbent: John Koppelmann (Shafer) Member by License
John has served on the SFLECC Board of Directors previously for 5 terms, almost 15 years. He has held past Committee Chairmanships and Officers with the SFLECC. John graduated from Indiana University in 1991 with a degree in Management. He currently owns his own Real Estate firm and has spent many years as a Real Estate Agent in the White County area. John is a full time resident on Lake Shafer. John says he really cares about the lakes for his family, business, and for the future of the community.
Marie Green (Shafer) Member by License
Marie started coming to Lake Shafer in 1967 for vacations and purchased her home on Lake Shafer in 1985. She relocated to Monticello in 1992 and has lived here along with her family. Marie has been involved with the SFLECC as a board member for 6 years from 2005-2011 and served on many SFLECC committees along with being the Board Secretary. Marie has been an active member, volunteering for many events. Marie has been a member of the Board of Directors of the White County Association of Realtors since 2005, serving as Vice President for 4 years and President for 4 years. Marie says she will be committed to attending the meetings and working to improve the quality of life and preserve the lakes for the enjoyment of her grandchildren and generations to come.
Kent Kiester (Shafer) Member by License
Kent is a teacher at North White High School and has lived in the North Bedford Bay area of the Big Monon for the past 9 years. Kent would like to make sure that the Big Monon residents, and in particular those on the north end of the Big Monon are represented on the Board. Kent feels he is qualified to serve on the Board and will be a member who would be fair and honest.
Ed Lucy (Freeman) Member by Upper Sunset Park Association
Ed has been a self-employed general contractor from 1969 through 2009 along with farming grain and livestock. He has been a member of the Indiana Farm Bureau Board of Directors, served on Logansport Ways & Means Committee, Cass County Children's Home, and served as Upper Sunset Park Board President. Ed is an active member of the Crooked Creek Christian Church by being Moderator and Assistant Moderator.
